BELIEFS & DOCTRINES
Salvation
The verbally inspired KJV Bible shares the ultimate gift of salvation and God's plan for mankind. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ; as God's Son, He was both fully man and fully divine.
Every person can have a restored fellowship with God through salvation by accepting Christ's offer of forgiveness for sin. After salvation, believers should be baptized in water by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. They should also live in a godly manner, dedicated to God for His special purposes. The Church has a mission to evangelize the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The “Gospel” story is not over. An imminent return of Jesus Christ is coming in which He will call His church to Heaven and judge an unbelieving world.
Diving Deeper
The one and only true God reveals Himself in three persons-the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost (commonly known as the Trinity). The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following Salvation that empowers Believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times. The initial physical evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues.
Divine healing of the sick is a privilege for Christians today and is provided for in Christ's atonement (His sacrificial death on the Cross for our sins).
